Imagine your walking down the street and your having a good night. you staring at your Iphone and listening to the cars around you and looking at the beautiful city lights of New York. all is good and well no problem here then all of a sudden the lights go out the cars suddenly stop running and your Iphone which had a full battery before you left is now dead. your plunged into darkness and you can't even call 911. that's what an E.M.P pulse would look like and the scary part is it could happen at anytime. so lets look how.

       An E.M.P means Electro Magnetic Pulse which can happen do to massive amounts of energy being released like for example a Nuclear explosion on land or even high up in the atmosphere. An E.M.P pulse can also happen do to Solar Flares from the sun. and if strong enough an E.M.P pulse could even shut down a wrist watch. an E.M.P pulse became a problem to the world when it became a digital based society. so what would happen after such an event?


      Well all power grids in the world would shut down leaving the world with out power for a long period of time. modern things like running tap water would be gone to even using some house hold items that are useful every day, communications would also be shut down. such things would even cause riots to total society collapse. Marshal Law would then be declared in some country's as things begin to get worse, F.E.M.A camps in the U.S would be put into use giving out food an water to those who need it and even medicine would become scares to those who  need it. so that is the worse case scenario if such an E.M.P pulse would happen. 

    An E.M.P pulse can also be used as an attack to a nation to demobilize it completely so the nation would be helpless to defend against an enemy who now can attack from anywhere. it would be like a army of knights communicating with each other with letters and the other can communicate in a flash. so E.M.P pulse can happen and many scenarios can be caused by it also. the answer again is not if it will happen but when it will happen and the frightening thing about it is that it could happen tomorrow or in the next hour.

   A question some of us have wondered and even considered a reality. But the question is the same. What would happen if an Advanced alien life form of some kind contact our planet and landed on the front lawn of the White House. well the answer is not that simple and it depends really on if the alien being is friendly or violent. 
so lets look at history and ourselves and see if we can find the answer that we may be seeking ugly as it may seem.

     So lets go back to the days of Christopher Columbus . when he first in that time period discovered North American by mistake trying to find a shorter trade route to India he shocked the world with his findings. Making contact with the Native Americans he named them Indians. At first the Native Americans had no idea what to make of them or their ships that they sailed on. and as he left for Europe everyone flocked to North America. France and England set up camps and settlements in North America pushing inland. Europeans began to drive the Natives into darkness and silence as community's where growing and even new Nations where born known as Canada and the United States. during this Time Native Americans where considered nothing more then savage brutes that had to be killed or converted into the Christian faith and beaten for speaking their native language some native children in residential schools never came back out alive. They where even killed by the first prototype of chemical weapons by giving them smallpox through blankets infected with them in an attempt to get ride of large groups of them. then they where relocated to strange areas they knew nothing about forced to adapt and to life out their lives there. And we still feel this impact today as we hear of the horrors of that time.

       as we look deeper in the past we see the horrors of the Roman Empire when she became a nation in Europe. the Roman Empire was built by expanding and destroying or converting other community's around it. when Rome First encountered the land of Britain she murdered hundreds of men woman and children and enslaved hundreds of those survivors of the community's they had destroyed. and even killed those who would not follow Roman rule or even English rule when Britain became a super power.      Now that we have looked into our past of what happens when an advanced society meets a lower advanced one we need to look on what could happen to us. what if we are contacted what could happen? well so many theory's are running around at this time in history that it is hard to tell at all. But the question we really face is with all our religions and the conflicts that they hold and the violent discovery's that we have seen are we ready for contact and if we are can we defend ourself's if we bring a pistol to a nuke fight?

      This question is asked by many in our world but not understood by them in many ways. But to understand this we also have to look at the history of such collapses we have suffered. so lets take a look on such an event.
     One major event that we know about is the great Depression the world went through in the 1930's. 
     the great depression first occurred in America on October 29th 1929 which is also known as black Tuesday. in this year income, wages, prices, profits  dropped an incredible rate leaving over up to about 33% unemployed as international trade dropped down to an all time low 50%  most cities world wide had been struck and mostly those who depended on Heavy industry. Farms areas and crop prices also dropped 60% leaving many desperate to the point of suicide attempts as total economic collapse fell on them like a dark cloud. what caused the great depression is up for speculations as there was many factors to it which include, Bank failures, Debt, over spending and ext. in this time both Poor and Rich where effected greatly but the rich suffered most as some plundered down to a poor class over night.        Now how do we put this in the modern era? well we need to look at what we see now, today many people are born with millions in debt that exceed over a regular student loan debt. America her self is in trillions of dollars in debt, we see Spain herself in a great economic crisis and Greece in an uproar over her increasing debt as money is next to nothing in these two country's. the world wide debt clock estimates a number of $50,935,563,203,595 in debt (note to reader the number grows every second to keep up with the limit the source is http://www.economist.com/content/global_debt_clock) so yes a Global economic collapse is possible and will happen in the future the true question is when?

   The question has always been around since the Bobonic plague that struck Europe in the Middle ages nearly killing everyone. Could a global pandemic happen again and the question is yes but only a question of when? But lets look on how it could happen


   To understand what could happen lets understand the last two that struck in our past. so first lets look at the Bobonic Plague. The Bobonic plague was spread through Europe by fleas and rodents which made its jump to humans in the year of 542 in Constantinople. and from there villagers spread it to each other until it crossed all of Europe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubonic_plague) this Plague also known as the black death killed entire villages and wiped out entire cities causing wide spread panic and even the believe that god was punishing humans for their sins and that Armageddon started to count down. the estimated dead  from this outbreak had killed around 30 to 60 percent of the European population leaving fear and the threat of such an outbreak could happening again. lucky through understanding how things work in such outbreaks the Black death can now be treated and cured. But another outbreak occurred in WW1 known as the Spanish flu. the Spanish flu lasted from 1918 to 1920 sweeping across the world killing over 3 to 5 percent of the worlds population. because of such an outbreak funerals, schools, hospitals and public gatherings where shut down to help stop the spread. most of those who came in contact with it dead a week later of contact. Body's where also burned to help stop the spread. it is noted that the virus was spread by troop movements and infected wounds from the war there was two waves of the flu and the second was worse then the first of its mutation in humans. it is also noted that the Spanish flu is in the same family as the H1N1 bird flu. lucky the Spanish flu can also be cured and taken care of.(   so lets look at how it could happen again. Today across the planet we number 7 billion humans strong in such an interconnected world. we travel through plan and sea faster then what have done before. So what could happen now you might say we have the world health organization and they act fast you might say. Well a new strain of flu, virus pandemic can occur in a country and spread to other nations in less then weeks depending on how many people travel the globe in that week. Now this new virus of flu could be new to anything we first had known and at a higher kill rate, it could even be like the common could and easily spread from one person to another. The trick the WHO has to face is determining where it came from and how to make a vaccine in time to stop further spread. And to keep in mind a vaccine takes time, by the time they make one millions could be dead and others sick from it. so to put all of it together with modern times and in the past yes a global pandemic of a disastrous magnitude can strike and will strike one day, The question you truly face is when one would occur and what would you do? 

   this question was asked in 1950 to even in modern times, Could there be a World War 3? well to understand this and its possibility we need to go down the path of history to look at past conflicts and how they changed the world. so first lets look at World War 1.
   World War 1 was fought by, Canada, Britain, France, Russia, Germany, Austria Hungary, Italy and the United States. This was was caused by Imperialism and Nationalism and the effects it had on other nations. all nations rapidly grew armies and weapons against the other and desperately tried to undermine other nations and use them as colonies to spread their own influence during that time period. Tensions where high in all nations and even formed alliances with each other, Germany, Italy and Austria-Hungary  formed a alliance called the Triple Alliance as Britain, France and Russia formed the alliance called the Triple Entente. this also fueled the fire that was growing within Europe and most even wanted War to break out. But the War broke out when Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria was assassinated by Gavrilo  Princip a student.  Austria-Hungary then attacked and invaded Serbia. this was when World War 1 was born and the worlds first great military conflict started which involved the deaths of an estimated number of 57.5% of the worlds armed forces.      After this conflict things began to calm down and the blame was put on Germany for the war and she was forced to pay for the damages done. Austria-Hungary was split up and Germany lost some of her land. This help fuel the second conflict we now call World War 2.
    World War 2 was started By Nazi Germany in the year of 1939 after Germany invaded Poland, Because of such an invasion Britain and France declared war on Germany and mobilized her forces against her in hopes of stopping another conflict. this proved in a feudal attempt as Germany moved through the dark forest and took France by surprise. then Britain was attacked by the German bombings and air raids over London. Germany after having a none aggression pact with Soviet Russia Invaded her in as eastern front was created by this in the year of 1941. after invading all the way to Stalingrad the Soviets where able to stop her advance and press on towards Berlin. America entered the war on December 7th 1941 as the Empire of Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and forced the U.S hand and helped the Allies and saved Britain from forced surrender as her shipping was nearly destroyed by the German wolf pack in the Atlantic ocean.      Now we need to look at the modern times and what we see. we see terrorist attacks in America, U.K, France, Russia and other nations. we see uprisings in nations as well. we also so Christians once again clash with Muslims in the Holy Lands and the threat of Nuclear war ever since the Cold War which lasted from 1945 to 1992. We also see nations once again massing armies in the form of Nationalism still. the failure of the U.N using force when she needs to as she makes the same mistakes the League of Nations did which helped fuel the World war 2 conflict.  
so understanding this and the past World War 3 is possible but it can be avoided when we learn the past. the question we face is when will such a war take place and how many people will pass with it?

    the question has always been asked from time to time "could the U.S go into another Civil War?" 
    Well to understand what could happen one must understand the Civil War America suffered from 1860 to 1865. Most people would say that the Civil War was about slavery and that the Northern states would not tolerate such an act anymore and that federal rights where beginning to recognize the Blacks as people instead of slaves. Well this was not the only issue that caused the Civil War. (http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/causes-american-civil-war.htm) one of the issues around slavery was the fact that slaves collected the cotton which was the backbone of the Southern states and saw the banning of slavery as a threat to their everyday life. Another point was that the Northern states became more industrialized at a fast rate then the south and began to earn more of an income then the south so slavery was no longer needed as a economic backbone for the nation. another point most do not know is that the South wanted the U.S currency to be of silver as the North wanted it to be gold and this also began to cause tensions in some parts. One major act that caused the war to break out was that the state of South Carolina passed a law that declared that the federal legislation could not be enforced on any state. This brought South Carolina into direct conflict with Washington D.C and an act was made that would allow force to be used to bring a U.S state into line. This force bill would also allow the U.S army to be used as well in these rogue states if an order was to be given. This also caused confusion on both sides of new states that joined the U.S would still have slavery or ban it all together.

Now the Civil War did not officially start when these states broke away but started when South Carolina had opened fired on Union Soldiers on Fort Sumter in April 1861 this sparked a war that would change the face of America forever.( http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/causes-american-civil-war.htm) The number dead in the Civil War is an estimated number of 850,000 american soldiers. to point on it the U.K could have invaded which they had plans to do and the U.S army had a high chance of losing to them. 
    America now faces problems today around Human rights and violations that appear within them. one big one we see now is the same sex marriage issue. today we see a growing problem with in the U.S about same sex marriage and their right to do so and even their basic rights are under attack in many ways such can be seen with the blacks within the cold war. 
   Another one that has recently been brought into light is the idea of privacy and the rights to them as written on the constitution and the charter of rights. The issue around that also comes into conflict with National Security  and the protection of the U.S and also it comes face to face with the Patriot Act which was passed shortly after the Twin Tower bombing of 9/11. Another one which in some cases is most feared is that the U.S Army is working in domestic operations of which is against the American constitution and how the U.S army is to work. The U.S army when it was formed was only allowed to assist in foreign affairs. and within the U.S was to assist in Rescue operations, and to only assist the police is Marshal Law treatment and the rights within them. But we see on the news that the U.S army are going into peoples homes asking for weapons and ID and putting people on buses in some cases which only again the police are allowed to do. 
   But putting the past with its issues and what is happening within the U.S now the question is yes America can have a Civil War as Britain can also face another civil war. the question we really face is when such a Civil War can and will occur?
