Questions

What was the most striking element of the film. Why do you remember that part particularly?

the most striking thing about the documentry was himself and president lyndon johnson.J.F.K wanted to take the troops out of Vietnam but when he was killed and president Lyndon Johnson took office all that changed. the troops where to stay there and Robert Mcnamara could not convince him to change the idea or even any part that in the cold war both the soviets and Americans where head to head with eachother. but in the office both President Lyndon Johnson and Robert Mcnamara where head to head with each other. No ideals could be meet in any basis and this lead to Robet Mcnamara's eventual departure.

Which one of McNamara’s questions or challenges is of most interest or concern to you? Why?

the most interesting out of the challenges he faced was the alomst insurance that nuclear war was going to happen. the other is that he was the secretary of defence for J.F.K. that is a huge responsibilty for one man in a time when things where tight and concerning to everyone at that time. the Cuban missile crisis was one.  in the cuban missle crisis Robert Mcnamara had to convince the president to do the right thing and not us military might because it could lead to further conflict and even nuclear bombing on American heads. but the victory was won and in my opinon this stands out as the most challenging thing he did.

Which of the eleven lessons were most interesting and important to you? With which

the one lesson that stands out for me is the lesson the empathize with your enemy. to do this is to understand where your enemy is coming from so you can make a better judgment on what to do and how to do it. to put it simple put yourself in their shoes. this is important because this lesson was used in the cuban missle crisis to help stop the situation. if this lesson weas not used we all would be lifing in a complete different world.
